The Safety Committee Boot Camp can be designed for companies looking to start a safety committee or revitalize an existing committee. The safety committee boot camp will:
Increase the effectiveness of the meetings - By requiring planning, organization and specific agendas.
Educate safety committee members - To be successful, the members must receive training in specific hazards as well as OSHA standards that apply to your operation.
Require active participation of members between meetings- Each educational session will require members to apply the principles of the safety training topic to their facility, operation or task. Safety committee members will be responsible and held accountable to complete post meeting tasks / assignments.
Increase awareness / engagement of all employees- Safety committee members must be the cheerleaders for your safety program. The members are the conduit for two way communication of the information, including the delivery of safety related topics, reports of hazards or other information.
